HotelCompass earns a finder's fee only when a deal closes — paid by the party benefiting from the introduction (most commonly the capital source for capital introductions, the operator for HMA introductions, or by mutual arrangement). Standard structures: Lehman Formula on equity raises (5-4-3-2-1%), basis-point fees on debt facilities, or fixed success fees for HMA placements. Detailed terms are set out in the engagement letter before any introduction takes place.
